Kabbalistic Numerology
Mystical secrets of numbers
Kabbalistic Wisdom
Kabbalistic numerology comes from the ancient Hebrew tradition and assigns unique values to each letter of the Hebrew alphabet. It is the foundation of gematria and reveals deep connections between words that share the same numerical value. Kabbalistic sages believed that numbers were the key to understanding the very structure of the universe.
📜 Mystical Origin
Kabbalah is a millennia-old tradition that studies the nature of God and the universe through the interpretation of sacred texts and their numerical values.
🔮 Sacred Numbers
The number 1 represents divine unity, 10 perfection, and 22 the construction of the world. Each number has a specific sacred vibration.
🕎 Tree of Life
The 10 sefirot of the Tree of Life are the pillars of creation, each associated with a number and a specific divine attribute.
The Kabbalistic calculation
Kabbalistic numerology (applied Hebrew gematria) works with the values of the Hebrew alphabet: Aleph=1, Beth=2, Gimel=3... through Tav=400. For names in the Latin alphabet, each letter is transcribed to its Hebrew equivalent where possible, or an adapted table (1-22) excluding double letters is used. Unlike the Pythagorean system, Kabbalistic numbers can reach high values (200, 300, 400) and both the total and its reductions are interpreted.
What consultations it is used for
Traditionally for deep name analysis, word equivalences (words of the same numerical value are connected — the basis of gematria), interpretation of sacred texts, and spiritual work with the Tree of Life (the 22 paths between the 10 sefirot). It is more mystical than predictive.
Difference from Pythagorean numerology
The Kabbalistic system has 22 Hebrew letters and works with much larger numbers; the Pythagorean has 9 cyclic digits. The Kabbalistic emphasizes correspondences between words; the Pythagorean, personal vibration. They are not interchangeable: each answers different questions.
