What is Numerology?

Numerology is the study of the vibration of numbers and their influence on human life. Developed from the teachings of Pythagoras, each number has a specific energy that affects our personality, destiny, and experiences.

1: leadership, individuality, origin. 2: relationship, duality, balance. 3: expression, creativity, communication. 4: structure, work, stability. 5: change, freedom, experience. 6: care, home, responsibility. 7: analysis, spirituality, introspection. 8: power, materialization, authority. 9: compassion, closure, humanitarianism. Each number has a base vibration that is modified depending on the position where it appears in the chart.

Destiny Number: calculated from the birth date. Marks the path and main lesson. Expression Number (or name number): calculated from all letters of the full name. Marks how you manifest in the world. Heart's Desire Number: only the vowels of the name. Marks what deeply motivates you. Personality Number: only the consonants. Marks how others see you. All four together form your basic numerological signature.

Calculate your Destiny Number (add the digits of your birth date until you reduce to a single digit, except 11/22/33). Read it as your main life theme. Then calculate the name number. If both coincide or are harmonic (e.g. 1 and 5, both action numbers), you have a clear profile. If they conflict (e.g. 4 structure and 5 change), you will understand why you sometimes feel an internal tension between 'staying' and 'moving.'
